JOVEE  is committed to protecting your privacy and at JOVEE we take your privacy with utmost priority and we are committed to our users safety and building meaningful connections. Your Privacy is at the core of the way we offer services to our users and the way we build and design our products.

2. SCOPE AND INFORMATION COVERED IN THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of Personal Information (as defined herein) and General Information (as defined herein) that we gather when you access the Site and/or App and when you use any part of the Service. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage. Unless otherwise set forth in the Agreement or this Privacy Policy, we do not post or share your Personal Information with any third party. This Privacy Policy applies to websites, apps, events, and other services operated by SKWSH. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as our “services” in this Privacy Policy. 

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 

JOVEE can only help you create meaningful connections and dates by collecting basic information about you like profile details and the preferences of people you will like to meet. We collect information based on the use of our service for example access logs and information from third parties for example when you access our services through a social media account. 


When you create an account, you provide us with at least your login credentials, as well as some basic details necessary for the service to work, such as your gender and date of birth. When you participate in surveys, focus groups, or market studies, you give us your insights into our products and services, responses to our questions, and testimonials. When you complete your profile, you can share with us additional information, such as details on your personality,  lifestyle, interests, and other details about you, as well as content such as photos. To add certain content, like pictures to your profile you may allow us to access your camera or photo album. Some of the information you choose to provide us may be considered “special” or “sensitive” in certain jurisdictions, for example, your racial or ethnic origins, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs. By choosing to provide this information, you consent to our processing of that information. Of course, we also process your chats with other users as well as the content you publish, as part of the operation of the services. When you participate in surveys, focus groups, or market studies, you give us your insights into our products and services, responses to our questions, and testimonials. When you choose to participate in our promotions, events, or contests, we collect the information that you use to register or enter.

In order to access the Service, you will be required to register for a JOVEE Account. You may register for a JOVEE Account by (A) providing certain personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) such as your name, e-mail address, Phone Number. It is your responsibility to give us current, complete, truthful, and accurate information, including Personal Information and information related to your profile, and to keep such information up to date. We will not be responsible for any problems or liability related to inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information, whether due to your failure to update such Personal Information and/or otherwise.

We collect and use your information to operate and improve the Site and the App and better deliver the Services. These uses may include performing analysis aimed at improving the Service; making the Site, the App, or Services more user-friendly by reducing the need for you to repeatedly enter the same information; and content that is tailored to your preferences and interests. We may also use your information to communicate with you, such as providing you with mandatory notices or discretionary notices about the Service. From time to time, we may also send you surveys or promotional mailings to inform you of other products or services available from JOVEE and its affiliates.  We will protect the privacy and security of Information according to our Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed or stored. With your information, we may develop new features and services (for example, we may decide to build a new interests-based feature further to requests received from users). Conduct research and analysis of users’ behavior to improve our services and content (for instance, we may decide to change the look and feel or even substantially modify a given feature based on users’ behavior). 


DISCLOSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

At JOVEE, our goal is to help you make meaningful connections, we do not sell, rent, lease or disclose your personal information. Your Personal Information will be used only by JOVEE and its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates, and your Personal Information will not be disclosed to any other third party without your consent and except as follows:

A. You understand and agree that we may access and/or disclose Personal Information about you or your JOVEE Account without your prior consent if we have a reasonable belief that such action is necessary to (1) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of other Users or members of the public; (2) comply with legal process or other legal requirements of any governmental authority; (3) operate or conduct maintenance and repair of the Site, the App or equipment as authorized by law;(4) protect and defend the rights or property of JOVEE (including the enforcement of our agreements); (5) enforce the terms of the Agreement or this Privacy Policy; (6) comply with a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, transfer of control, a joint venture or other business combination. We are not required to question or contest the validity of any search warrant, subpoena or other similar governmental requests that we receive. In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if JOVEE, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, user information would be one of the assets that are transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that any acquirer of JOVEE may continue to use your Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.


B.  For online payments, we may use the payment services provided by third-party service providers (the “Processor”) (e.g., Stripe, Bill.com, etc.). If we use a Processor, we will not process, record, or maintain your Credit Card or bank account information, and all of your information is stored securely on such a Processor's database. For more information on how payments are handled, or to understand the data security and privacy afforded such information, please refer to the Processor’s Terms of Use and the Processor’s privacy policy. We may at times change our third-party payment processor. The processing of payments will be subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of such third-party payment processors.

C. We may hire other companies to provide limited administrative and communication services on our behalf, such as hosting Sites, the processing and delivery of mailings, or providing customer support. We have the right to disclose your Personal Information to these third-party companies for the purpose of administering and maintaining the Site and App’s features, functions, and operations. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only such Personal Information as necessary for them to deliver the respective services, and we do not authorize these companies to use your Personal Information except for the sole purpose of providing those services requested by us.

 

D. Sharing of information will involve cross-border data transfers for users outside the United Kingdom. As an example, where the service allows for users to be located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), United States of America, Across Asia, and other geographical locations where the services of JOVEE can be used. their personal information is transferred to countries outside of the EEA. We use standard contract clauses approved by the European Commission, United States of America, across Asia, or other suitable safeguards to permit data transfers from the EEA to other countries. Standard contractual clauses are commitments between companies transferring personal data, binding them to protect the privacy and security of your data.


INFORMATION ON GPS LOCATION 

From the permission system on your mobile operating system, we request permission for the App’s collection of your GPS location from your device. If you initially permit the collection of this information, you can later disable it by changing the location settings on your mobile device. However, you understand that your ability to use certain features of our Services will be limited if you do so.

Children’s Policy: The Site, the App, and the Services are intended for general audiences, and JOVEE does not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children or under-aged people. During the registration process for a JOVEE Account, JOVEE does collect age information, and if users identify themselves as under 18 years of age, SKWSH will block such users from providing personal information.

Your Rights: At JOVEE, our priority is our users safety and also for our users to be in control of their information. We have provided the following features in our app and website to enhance the access for our users to always have control of: 

Reviewing your information: Applicable privacy laws may give you the right to review the personal information we keep about you (depending on the jurisdiction, this may be called right of access, right of portability or variations of those terms). 

Updating your information: If you believe that the information we hold about you is inaccurate or that we are no longer entitled to use it and want to request its rectification, deletion or object to its processing.  For your protection and the protection of all of our users, we may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can answer the above requests. Keep in mind, we may reject requests for certain reasons, including if the request is unlawful or if it may infringe on trade secrets or intellectual property or the privacy of another user. If you wish to receive information relating to another user, such as a copy of any messages you received from him or her through our service, the other user will have to contact our Privacy Officer to provide their written consent before the information is released.

Uninstall: You can stop all information collection by an app by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process for your device. If you uninstall the app from your mobile device, the unique identifier associated with your device will continue to be stored. If you re-install the application on the same mobile device, we will be able to re-associate this identifier to your previous transactions and activities.

Device permissions: Mobile platforms have permission systems for specific types of device data and notifications, such as phone book and location services as well as push notifications. You can change your settings on your device to either consent or oppose the collection of the corresponding information or the display of the corresponding notifications. Of course, if you do that, certain services may lose full functionality.

Access / Update tools in the service: Tools and account settings that help you to access, rectify or delete information that you provided to us and that’s associated with your account directly within the service. Account  Deletion: You can delete your account by using the corresponding functionality directly on the service.

Accountability: In certain countries, including in the European Union, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority if you have concerns about how we process your personal information. The data protection authority you can lodge a complaint with notably may be that of your habitual residence, where you work or where we are established.
