Terms and Condition

1. Introduction 

Hi and welcome to our mobile app and website (https://www.getjovee.co). Our app, website, domain, features, proprietary software, services provided by JOVEE and information will allow you (Our Users) (The term You, Your and Yours refers to any users of the app and website to connect virtually with other users from the app/website and then match and schedule a date within a 96 hour timeframe. We suggest that before using the website/app, we suggest that you carefully read through the Terms and Conditions. 

We suggest that you read through our privacy policy found on our app and website on https://www.getjovee.co/privacy-policy before using any part of our app or website or download/register our app (JOVEE). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR PRIVACY POLICY OF OUR APP OR WEBSITE, THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO DOWNLOAD OUR APP OR USE ANY FEATURE FROM OUR WEBSITE.We reserve the right to change, modify or amend the terms at any given time and Notice of any material change will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. In some circumstances, we may notify you of a change to the Terms via email or other means, as appropriate under the circumstances; however, you are responsible for regularly checking this page for notice of any changes. We agree that future changes will not be retroactive without your consent. Your continued use of our Services constitutes your acceptance of any change, and you will be legally bound by the updated Terms. If you do not accept a change to the terms, you should stop using our Services immediately.

2. User Agreement

Your Eligibility: Before using the JOVEE app or website, you have to meet and agree to the following criteria: 

  • You Must be at least 18 years of age

  • You are not prohibited by law from using our services

  • You are seeking a meaningful relationship 

  • You have not pled no contest to a felony or convicted by law or indictable offence or any crime involving violence, a sex crime. 

  • You are legally qualified to enter a binding contract with JOVEE

  • You are not legally married or in a relationship or if married, you warrant or represent that you are currently separated from your spouse 

  • You are not required to register as a sex offender in any Government authority 

  • You are not on any list of individuals conducting business with the United Kingdom 

  • You do not have more than one account on our service (JOVEE)

  • You are not located in any country that is subject to a United Kingdom Government Embargo or has been listed as by the United Kingdom Government as a terrorist supporting country

  • You are qualified to enter a ‘’User’’ Binding contract with JOVEE

  • You have not been disqualified or previously removed from using our services (JOVEE) unless you have requested a written permission to open a new account via our email (hello@getjovee.co)

We retain the rights to remove your account without warning and prevent you from reaching out to other users if you cease to meet these requirements. You must immediately delete your account. YOU AGREE  AND UNDERSTAND THAT WE DO NOT AND WE ARE NOT  REQUIRED TO, CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS ON USERS. WE ALSO DO NOT INQUIRE INTO THE BACKGROUNDS OF USERS OR, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE SET FORTH IN  REGARDING VERIFICATION OF A USER’S VERIFICATION BY PHONE NUMBER, ATTEMPT TO VERIFY THE INFORMATION OR STATEMENTS OF USERS. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE CONDUCT OF USERS OR THEIR COMPATIBILITY WITH ANY CURRENT OR FUTURE USERS. Therefore, we reserve the right to conduct any criminal background check, at any time and using available public records, to confirm your compliance with the terms of this Agreement. Any use of the Service is void where prohibited. By accessing and using the Site and/or App, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

JOVEE Account

JOVEE Access and Registration and Use. In order to access the Service, you will be required to register for a JOVEE Account. To register for a JOVEE Account, you will (i) provide us with your mobile phone number (your “Phone Number”); (ii) and your email address. You may also be requested to provide us with such other information as photographs of yourself, your email address, your education, your background and your Location (as defined in Section 1.6). If you choose to provide us with your Phone Number, you authorize us to send you a verification code via SMS text message in order to verify your identity and complete your registration. Once you have provided the required information and we have either sent you a verification code to your Phone Number we will then permit you to register for a JOVEE Account. You agree to: (1) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself when registering for a JOVEE Account, including, but not limited, to a correct Phone Number, email address, along with true photographs of yourself, and any credit card information (your “Credit Card”) as applicable; (2) authorize JOVEE and, if applicable, its Processor (as defined in Section 1.7(b)) to charge your Credit Card for any and all fees incurred by you for your use of the Services; (3) maintain and promptly update your JOVEE Account to keep it true, accurate, current and complete; (4) create only one unique JOVEE Account and profile; and (5) in the event you provide us with your Phone Number, (A) be solely responsible for any fees charged by your wireless provider in connection with SMS messages that you receive from us in connection with the Services; and (B) contact your wireless provider with any questions regarding your text and/or data plan. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or JOVEE has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your JOVEE Account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Services (or any portion thereof). YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, WHILE WE DO OUR BEST TO VERIFY USERS THROUGH THEIR PHONE NUMBERS, WE CANNOT BE AND ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE TO YOU IN ANY WAY, FOR USERS WHO CREATE OR PROVIDE US WITH A FAKE, MISLEADING OR INACCURATE PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ADDRESS. 

To become a member of JOVEE, you agree to: 

  • Treat others in a respectful and courteous manner both on the app and offline on actual dates originating from JOVEE app or website.

  • Use the latest version of our app and or website.

  • Use and maintain a strong password and carefully protect your login information.

  • Be respectful when communicating with our customer care representatives or employees.

  • Present yourself authentically by providing and adding a photo on your profile which shows your face. 

  • Comply with our terms and conditions and periodically check our terms and conditions for any new updates

You will agree not to: 

  • Use our service for any illegal, harmful or fraudulent purposes

  • Assault, bully, stalk, defame, mistreat any person from the JOVEE app or website, whether when communicating within the platform or on a JOVEE initiated date. 

  • Misrepresent your age, identity, qualifications, previous or current locations, affiliations with an entity or person. 

  • Solicit money or other items of value from another user, whether as a gift, loan, or form of compensation 

  • Disclose private or proprietary information that you do not have the right to disclose;

  • solicit money or other items of value from another user, whether as a gift, loan, or form of compensation

  • Use our Services in relation to fraud, a pyramid scheme, or other similar practice; or

  • Copy, modify, transmit, distribute, or create any derivative works from, any Member Content or Our Content, or any copyrighted material, images, trademarks, trade names, service marks, or other intellectual property, content or proprietary information accessible through our Services without JOVEE’s prior written consent

Use of JOVEE app and website  

    You understand and agree that: 

  • you will not authorize any third party to access and/or use the Service on your behalf using any automated process such as a BOT, a spider or periodic caching of information stored by the Service on your behalf without a separate written agreement with us; 

  •  you will only use the App to access and/or use the Services; 

  • you will permit us to send and deliver updates and notifications to you as part of your use of the App; 

  • your use of the App is conditioned upon your acceptance of the terms of this Agreement; 

  • you will not use any software or services in conjunction with the Service or authorized third-party software which modifies or reroutes, or attempts to modify or reroute, the Service;

  • you will allow the App to automatically download and install updates from time to time from us which are designed to improve, enhance and further develop the App and may take the form of bug fixes, enhanced functions, new software modules and completely new versions

  • the App contains copyrighted material, trade secrets, and other proprietary materials of JOVEE and its licensors; 

  • you will not lend, lease, rent or sublicense the App; 

  • in order to protect those proprietary materials, except as expressly permitted by applicable law, neither you nor a third party acting on your behalf will: (A) decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the App; (B) modify or create derivative works of the App; (C) use the App in any manner to provide service bureau, commercial time-sharing or other computer services to third parties; (D) transmit the App or provide its functionality, in whole or in part, over the Internet or other network (except as expressly permitted above); (E) sell, distribute, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise transfer the App to a third party; or (F) use components of the App to run applications not running on the App.

  • you will not use any software or hardware that reduces the number of Users directly accessing or using the Service (sometimes called 'multiplexing' or 'pooling' software or hardware);


Use of the JOVEE APP/Website. 

1.  Matching with Other JOVEE users: After registering for a JOVEE Account, and once you’re ready to use our Services to meet up with a User in real life (“JOVEE date”), you must enable location services on your mobile phone and select surrounding neighborhoods located in your area or search radius in which you are able and willing to meet with a JOVEE Match (your “Location”). You understand that as JOVEE dates (as defined herein) the ready to arrange a date button becomes live after a conversation has been initiated by both users in the chatroom/inbox and another request is sent to both user even after matching for both users to decide if they will like to meet the other user or not. It therefore has to be a mutual consent from both users agreeing to meet before the JOVEE date schedule button becomes live for either user to schedule a date and send to the other user for acceptance or not.  You represent and warrant that you are physically located in or nearby your Location and that you will timely make it to your JOVEE date. Your location will not be shared with any Users and the Location will only be used to locate Users within or nearby who are ready to go on JOVEE dates within 96 hours. Based on your Location, our Services will provide you with the profiles of other Users in or nearby your Location who are also ready to schedule or meet on a JOVEE date. You will then have to initiate a conversation with your match and review a User’s profile and determine whether you want to go on a JOVEE date or not. After the JOVEE date button becomes live, you have a time frame window of 96 hours (4 days) to schedule your date and meet with your JOVEE match. Our Services will continue showing you User profiles until you match and there is also a mutual match from the other user as well.  Once a JOVEE  Match is found and both users have gained acquaintances by chatting on the chatroom, there is a 96 hours (4 days) time frame to schedule the date and meet and both users will have to mutually accept the date location and time, we will suggest a public meeting place which is broken down into various categories ranging from Restaurant, Bars, Cafes, Nightlife, Museums, Galleries, Outdoor, Parks, Cinema and users can select from the suggested places within any category of their choice for the JOVEE date. Users can also suggest other preferred locations that are not suggested by JOVEE app or website. It is the responsibility of both users to check and verify that the location is favourable and safe for the JOVEE date.  Only one JOVEE date can be scheduled within a given time schedule. You understand, represent and warrant that (i) it is your responsibility to decide whether the location of the JOVEE date is suitable for you, taking into account any and all applicable restrictions you may have (e.g. your personal food allergies, religious restrictions, gluten tolerance, vegetarianism, etc. (collectively, the “Restrictions”)); (ii) the final decision to choose a certain JOVEE date is up to you and we are not responsible or liable in any way to you for such decision, including, but not limited to, any adverse, harmful or injurious reactions you may experience at a JOVEE date due to your Restrictions; and (iii) you will not use or create multiple JOVEE dates in order to set up more than one JOVEE date within a given time frame or hour of the day. 

2. JOVEE date: You understand and agree that we are not responsible for the conduct of any User. In setting up a JOVEE date, we will suggest, and recommend that if you suggest the location of a JOVEE date, users can also select and schedule their own preferred locations. We also recommend that you take necessary precautions prior to all JOVEE dates including, but not limited to, (i) informing your friends and family of your plans, including the specifics of the JOVEE date  and the JOVEE Match you’re meeting up with; We have integrated a safety feature called trusted contacts which allows JOVEE users to send out the information of the JOVEE date (JOVEE match, JOVEE date location, time and day to 3 trusted contacts picked by the JOVEE user before any date. This trusted contact is saved on the personal profile of the JOVEE user and can be updated by the user as to new users being added or removed from the list. (ii) arranging for and controlling your own transportation to and from the JOVEE date; and (iii) avoiding the consumption of alcohol and/or drugs which may impair your judgement and potentially put you in danger. You understand and agree that the preceding are only recommendations from JOVEE, and we, our officers, employees, directors, stockholders, contractors, information providers, licensors, suppliers and affiliates (our “Affiliates”), are not responsible and liable in any way for your or your JOVEE Match’s actions, interactions, communications and conduct prior to, during or after any JOVEE date. You further understand that we make no guarantees, either express or implied, regarding your ultimate compatibility with JOVEE matches you meet through the Service. You should not provide your financial information (for example, your credit card or bank account information), or wire or otherwise send money to other Users.

3. Cancellations: If you are using the Services and are ready to go on a JOVEE date, you agree that you will be ready to and can meet with a JOVEE Match after starting a chat in the chatroom and you have a 96 hour (4 days) timeframe to set a date. Given the time period between getting a JOVEE match and showing up at the JOVEE date, you agree that, absent unavoidable emergencies or events beyond your control (e.g. traffic accidents, family emergencies, train derailment, etc.), you will not cancel a JOVEE date for any reason. You further understand and agree that, in the event that you are required to cancel a JOVEE date, after three such cancellations within 30 days, your JOVEE Account will be suspended or terminated, at our discretion, and you will be prohibited from using the Services. However, if your JOVEE Account was suspended or terminated, you can contact us at hello@getskwsh.com to discuss whether reactivation of your JOVEE Account will be allowed. We encourage you to report any JOVEE Match that cancels a JOVEE date with you.

Purchases: JOVEE may offer products and services for purchase through iTunes, Google Play or other external services authorized by JOVEE (each, an “External Service,” and any purchases made thereon, an “External Service Purchase”). If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew until you cancel, in accordance with the terms disclosed to you at the time of purchase, as further described below. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of your subscription period, at which point is will expire. Because our Services may be utilized without a subscription, canceling your subscription does not remove your profile from our Services. 

Automatically Renewing Subscriptions:  Subscriptions are automatically renewed until you terminate or cancel the subscription. When you purchase a subscription, your Payment Method will continue to be billed monthly in advance within 24 hours of the date of the initial purchase at the price you agreed to when initially subscribing. Your card payment information will be stored and subsequently used for the automatic card payments in accordance with the Agreement. You may unconditionally withdraw your consent to automatic card payments at any time by going to Settings on JOVEE or the relevant third party account, but be advised that you are still obligated to pay any outstanding amounts.


Subscriptions and External Service Purchases: When making a purchase on the Service, you may have the option to pay through an External Service, such as with your Apple ID or Google account (“your External Service Account”), and your External Service Account will be charged for the purchase in accordance with the terms disclosed to you at the time of purchase and the general terms applicable to your External Service Account. Some External Services may charge you sales tax, depending on where you live, which may change from time to time. If your External Service Purchase includes an automatically renewing subscription, your External Service Account will continue to be periodically charged for the subscription until you cancel. After your initial subscription commitment period, and again after any subsequent subscription period, the subscription will automatically continue for the price and time period you agreed to when subscribing.

To cancel a subscription: If you do not want your subscription to renew automatically, or if you want to change or terminate your subscription, you must log in to your External Service Account and follow instructions to manage or cancel your subscription, even if you have otherwise deleted your account with us or if you have deleted the App from your device. For example, if you subscribed using your Apple ID, cancellation is handled by Apple, not JOVEE. To cancel a purchase made with your Apple ID, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > [click on your Apple ID] > View Apple ID > Subscriptions, then find your JOVEE subscription and follow the instructions to cancel. You can also request assistance at https://getsupport.apple.com. Similarly, if you subscribed on Google Play, cancellation is handled by Google. To cancel a purchase made through Google Play, launch the Google Play app on your mobile device and go to Menu > My Apps > Subscriptions, then find your JOVEE subscription and follow the instructions to cancel. You can also request assistance at https://play.google.com. If you cancel a subscription, you may continue to use the cancelled service until the end of your then-current subscription term. The subscription will not be renewed when your then-current term expires.

Refunds: Generally, all charges for purchases are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. We may make an exception if a refund for a subscription offering is requested within fourteen days of the transaction date, or if the laws applicable in your jurisdiction provide for refunds.For subscribers residing in the EU or European Economic Area - in accordance with local law, you are entitled to a full refund without stating the reason during the 14 days after the subscription begins. Please note that this 14-day period commences when the subscription starts.

Refund Process: To request a refund, if you made a purchase using your Apple ID, refunds are handled by Apple, not JOVEE. To request a refund, go to iTunes, click on your Apple ID, select "Purchase history", find the transaction and hit "Report Problem". You can also submit a request at https://getsupport.apple.com.


If you made a purchase using your Google Play Store account or through JOVEE directly: please contact hello@getjovee.co with your order number for the Google Play Store (you can find the order number in the order confirmation email or by logging in to Google Wallet) or JOVEE(you can find this on your confirmation email). You may also mail or deliver a signed and dated notice which states that you, the buyer, are canceling this agreement, or words of similar effect. Please also include the email address or mobile number associated with your account along with your order number. This notice shall be sent to: JOVEE, Attn: Cancellations, 25 The Grainstore, 3 Seagull Lane. London. E16 1AZ. United Kingdom. 

Service Operations. We reserve complete and sole discretion with respect to the operation of the Site and the App. We may, among other things: (a) delete email or private messages if it has not been accessed by a User within the time established by our policies; (b) subject to Section 1, make available to third parties information relating to the Users; and (c) withdraw, suspend or discontinue any functionality or feature of the Site and/or the App. We may, in our complete and sole discretion, review uploaded files, conferences, forums, and chats and authorize restrictions on access thereto. We will not review the contents of email or private messages except as required or allowed by applicable law or legal process or as we deem necessary, in our sole discretion, to ensure compliances with the terms of this Agreement and/or to protect the safety of our Users, including, but not limited to, reviewing private messages in response to a complaint made against, or a report submitted to us against, a User. You acknowledge and agree that from time to time the Service may be inaccessible or inoperable for any reason, including, without limitation: (x) equipment malfunctions; (y) periodic maintenance procedures or repairs which we may undertake from time to time; or (z) causes beyond our control or which are not reasonably foreseeable by us.

Submitted Content. You are solely responsible for the information, and other content including video content and textual content that you post, upload, publish, link to, transmit, record, display or otherwise make available (hereinafter, "post") on the Service or transmit to other Users, including emails, videos, photographs, voice notes, recordings or profile text, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted  (collectively, the “Submitted Content”).  You understand the Site and App is available to the public. Therefore any information you consider confidential should not be posted to the Site or App. We do not share or post your information; provided, however, you understand and agree that by posting Submitted Content, we may reveal your identity and whatever information we know about you to (a) other Users, (b) JOVEE Matches, or (c) any law enforcement agent or official in the event of legal action arising from your conduct in using the Services and/or any Submitted Content posting by you. Your participation in on-line communications occurs in real time and is not edited, censored, or otherwise controlled by us. We cannot and do not screen content provided by you or any other User to the Site, the App or through the Services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to monitor content on the Site and App and to remove content, which we, in our sole discretion, determines to be harmful, offensive, or otherwise in violation of this Agreement or our operating policies for Users. You may send and receive electronic mail ("email"), engage in conferences and chats, download and upload files and otherwise use Site and App as permitted by this Agreement, our operating policies and applicable law. Our operating policies relating to online conduct, storage and deletion of email and uploaded files, conferences, and other matters are available online on the Site. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to change such policies at any time. Uploaded files may be subject to posted limitations on usage, reproduction and/or dissemination, and you are responsible for adhering to such limitations if you download them.

LIABILITY LIMITATION. NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING PARAGRAPH JOVEE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY THEORY OF LAW, FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, ARISING OUT OF, BASED ON, OR RESULTING FROM THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF INFORMATION OR DATA OR COSTS OF REPLACEMENT GOODS, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, THE APP, THE SOFTWARE OR RESULTING FROM USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE INFORMATION PRESENTED, OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF JOVEE MAY HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE SITE AND THE APP ARE CONTROLLED AND OFFERED BY JOVEE FROM ITS FACILITIES IN THE United Kingdom. BECAUSE SOME STATES/JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. The Site and App are controlled and offered by JOVEE MANAGEMENT from its facilities in the United Kingdom. 


General Disclaimer. THE SITE AND THE APP ARE PROVIDED BY JOVEE ON AN "AS IS" BASIS. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE SITE, THE APP OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, OR PRODUCTS INCLUDED ON THE SITE OR THE APP. TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WARRANTIES THAT ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE FACE OF THESE TERMS. WE CANNOT AND DO NOT WARRANT AGAINST HUMAN AND MACHINE ERRORS, OMISSIONS, DELAYS, INTERRUPTIONS OR LOSSES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA. WE CANNOT AND DO NOT GUARANTEE OR WARRANT THAT FILES AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING FROM THE SITE OR THE APP WILL BE FREE OF INFECTION BY VIRUSES, WORMS, TROJAN HORSES OR OTHER CODE THAT MANIFEST CONTAMINATING OR DESTRUCTIVE PROPERTIES. WE DO NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE THAT THE FUNCTIONS OR SERVICE ACCESSED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE SITE OR APP WILL BE CORRECTED. THIS DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY CONSTITUTES AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THESE TERMS. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY PORTION OF THE SERVICE, OR WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USING THE SERVICE. WE MAY CHANGE THE SERVICE OR THE FEATURES IN ANY WAY, AND AT ANY TIME AND FOR ANY REASON. 

WAIVER AND RELEASE. YOU AGREE THAT NEITHER JOVEE NOR AFFILIATES SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY TO YOU UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY OR INDEMNITY OR LOSS OR DAMAGE, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY AND DEATH, AS A RESULT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH (A) YOUR USE OF THE SITE, THE APP, THE SERVICE, OR THE CONTENT, (B) THE CONDUCT, WHETHER ONLINE OR OFFLINE, OF ANY USER, INCLUDING A JOVEE MATCH, OR (C) JOVEE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SUBMITTED CONTENT OR THE DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE, OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF ANY USER OR THIRD PARTY AND THAT THE RISK OF HARM OR DAMAGE FROM THE FOREGOING RESTS ENTIRELY WITH YOU.
